Approved Auditor in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai
Approved Auditor in JLT
Farahat & Co. is an approved auditor in Jumeirah Lake Towers, providing DMCC-compliant audit services to JLT-registered companies.
Jumeirah Lake Towers is regulated by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, and every company registered under DMCC, including those based in JLT, must submit audited financial statements prepared by a firm on DMCC’s Approved Auditors List. This applies whether the company traded during the year or not, and audited statements are required both for annual filing and at the time of trade license renewal. Our audit firm holds DMCC approval and prepares IFRS-compliant financial statements for JLT companies across trading, holding, and services structures.
- DMCC Approved Auditors List status, authorised to sign audit reports for JLT-registered companies
- IFRS-compliant audited financial statements submitted through the DMCC Member Portal
- Support for dormant and zero-revenue companies, which still require an audit unless narrow exemption criteria apply
- Renewal-aligned audit timing, so your audit report is ready ahead of your trade license renewal date
Why JLT Companies Need an Approved Auditor
Under DMCC Authority Regulations No. 1 of 2020, every company registered under DMCC, which governs the JLT free zone, must have its financial statements audited by a firm on the DMCC Approved Auditors List before submission through the Member Portal.
Audited financial statements must generally be submitted within 90 days of the company’s financial year end, and where a trade license renewal date falls before that deadline, the audit report needs to be ready in time for renewal rather than the standard filing window. New companies, holding structures, SPVs, and companies with no revenue during the year are not automatically exempt, and are still expected to prepare IFRS-compliant statements and have them audited unless they qualify under the free zone’s specific dormant-entity provisions.
